Chair of Minis Midis and Juniors Section.

It gives me great pleasure to welocme you to junior rugby at Guisborough. The club have been involved in jumior rugby since 1983, but at no time has the section been so  vibrant, with parents, coaches and players working together, providing some superb rugby and fantastic fun for all. Indeed this season we  have 12 minis, midis and junior teams representing the club, with over 200 players particpating  regularly - an outstanding achievement, and unprecedented in the history of the section.   This web link is I believe an important source of information within the section which has been designed to help you understand what we are aiming to achieve for the young players at Guisborough and I hope that you can take a few minutes to read it and then retain it as a point of future reference for information about the club.

The information viewed will, I am sure be of value to you, and I would recommend that you use this information in conjunction with the policies and codes of conduct for spectators, parents, coaches and players - particularly those relating to player welfare and child protection. 

  The combination of these policies, procedures and codes of conduct are the key to providing the framework within which we will seek to provide a safe but stimulating environment within which young people can enjoy learning about, and playing, rugby. For those of you active with the club, thanks again for all your help and support, and I hope that you will all continue to support the club in its endeavours on and off the field in the future.
