| Comment from the Chair.
Welcome to Guisborough Rugby Club and welcome to
our new club web-site, my thanks go to all friends and members who have
helped create and indeed will maintain the site in order for us to keep
you informed of our progress and of our social events. I hope you enjoy
using the site and find it informative.
As you can see from the web site, our club has been
established for over 30years. During the past 15 to 16 years, we have
been growing from strength to strength as a rugby club, and we offer
many opportunities to play rugby, at different levels.We have teams aged
from under 7 to under 18’s and field 2 senior teams which nurtures our
young colt players into senior rugby. The 1st team play
their games in the Durham and Northumberland Division 2 and our 2nd
team play their games in the local merit league.

In addition to providing rugby at all age groups,
the club also shares its facilities with local sporting clubs, ie. Archery, Fell running,
Netball, Line dancing and Dog training.. No club can operate without its
volunteers, and the support from the families of all involved.
Therefore, as a member of the committee, I would like to thank all who
give their valuable time for the benefit of Guisborough Rugby Club.
We are proud of our club and of the friendly
approach and welcoming atmosphere that we provide, so I on behalf of the
Committee I invite all to come and enjoy Guisborough rugby clubs and
it’s facilities..
